We’re pleased to share a helpful update to the triple degree program at National University of Medical Sciences (USA).
Following a recommendation from the Indigenous Health Authority, the program is now available to doctors (Category 3 students) as a one-year program instead of two years—and we have adopted this change.
This means:
* Students with prior doctoral-level health education can complete the ND, DIIM, and PhD in one year
* Students with prior (non-doctoral) health education can complete it in two years
* Students without prior health education can complete it in four years
The first class begins in September 2026. We are also working on establishing a teaching clinic, followed by a teaching farm in California. For now, on-site classes & clinical internship remain optional, though they may become mandatory in the future.
