One Step Closer to NUMSSOM!

I saw a few properties for the National University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine (NUMSSOM), and I fell in love with one! And no, it wasn’t just because it’s orange—my absolute favorite color… although that definitely helped! 😄🧡

What really attracted me was the building’s unique roof design, high ceilings, and the peaceful natural surroundings that almost feel like a park. It is also conveniently located close to stores, restaurants, and the beach.

My lawyer—one of the sharpest lawyers I have ever met—told me that at this stage we don’t actually need to rent a property yet and could wait. But I decided to submit an offer this morning anyway. I really love this building and don’t want to risk losing it. More importantly, I want to demonstrate to the Ministry (and myself) that I am serious and fully committed to bringing this project to life.

Of course, I negotiated! 😄 I asked for a discount, some free rent, a December start date, and a few other things.

Now let’s see if the landlord accepts my offer! 🤞🧡

To top it off mt real estate agent took me to a local restaurant, and I had amazing stewed chicken with lentil rice and veggies! 👍👌
