We are pleased to share that the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMSS) is in the process of establishing a new collaboration with Bay University School of Medicine in Aruba (Netherlands). As part of this developing partnership, NUMSS has been granted space on their campus, where we plan to offer future classes for Bay University’s Doctor of Medicine (MD) students under the upcoming DO/MD dual degree program.
This location is also expected to serve as a practical training center for NUMSS students, enhancing their hands-on clinical experience once fully operational.
We are currently working toward launching two collaborative programs with Bay University School of Medicine:
- DO/MD Dual Degree Program – A future pathway for students to pursue both the Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees concurrently. The program aims to meet recognition standards in the United States, Canada, and other countries.
- DO to MD Bridge Program – An accelerated MD pathway for NUMSS DO graduates, expected to be completed in 18 months. Once finalized, it will provide graduates the opportunity to qualify for MD licensure in the USA, Canada, and internationally.
These developments reflect NUMSS’s ongoing efforts to expand global opportunities for our students. Further updates will be shared as the programs are finalized.
