National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) doctor of osteopathy (DO) degree is approved by the California University FCE, a government approved degree evaluating agency in California (USA).
California University FCE is a member of the American Evaluation Association as recommended by the United States Department of Education. The degree equivalency evaluation of this organization is accepted by the State of California Department of Education and many other organizations.
We wish to congratulate Dr. William James Cobb, a NUMSS (Spain) DO graduate for getting his DO degree evaluated in the US. Dr Cobb is finishing an accelerated medical degree (MD) program and needed to get all his degrees evaluated.
This evaluation means NUMSS (Spain) DO degree is evaluated as an equivalent to a normal doctoral program in the United States. This evaluation does not mean that our DO degree is accepted as a license to practice medicine. We teach manual osteopathy not osteopathic medicine and alumni cannot practice anywhere in the world as an osteopathic physician with our DO degree. However alumni can practice as an osteopathic manual practitioners in the United States.
